Pathocracy: Are Some of Our Leaders Psychopaths?

Pathocracy is a government run by psychopaths. Victims of these psychopaths are easy to recognize nowadays; they wear a mouth mask, which quite literally shuts up their mouth. People in the West often think that the government is acting in the interest of their citizens, but currently, that is definitely not the case.

How to Recognize a Psychopath?

Psychopathy is defined by a lack of consciousness and an incapability to feel empathy. Usually, this develops already at a young age; psychopaths stopped in their development and are heavily damaged because conscience is one of our deepest core values as a human. On the outside, these people seem to be normal. Psychopaths don’t look like Jack Nicholson in `The Shining’, or Anthony Hopkins in `Silence of the Lambs.’ About 5% of the population has a none functioning or very limited functioning conscience. These people look normal, talk normal, and have apparent normal reactions. Only if you know these people better will you discover that they are not normal but are very good at copying normal behavior. But there is no content; these are people without a core. That is also one of the reasons why it is hard to recognize a psychopath; even for people with strong intuition, the core, the soul is not present; there is a void. Our core values have a hard time recognizing this; we can only sense that something is missing. The essence of psychopathy is the absence of conscience and consciousness. Self-knowledge and self-reflection are absent.

A small proportion of people who suffer from psychologically abnormal personalities have, throughout history, had an immeasurable detrimental impact on our societies, our politics, and our world. Enabled by their ruthlessness to readily acquire positions of power, they have long dominated the psychologically normal majority of the world’s population.

Ian Hughes

Psychopaths have different masks. There is a mask of `normality,’ but there is also a mask `better than normality’; it is equipped with vanity and grandiosity. One overestimates himself, and this can be mistaken as narcissism. There is also a mask `less than normal’; this is needy. And there is the `mask of the leader,’ the philanthrope, with one hand he does good, but what is his other hand doing? When the mainstream media report about these people, they highlight the good deeds, but if they looked critically, they would see that they do more bad things than good things.

Psychopaths at the Top

In a psychopath, there is a lack of guidance from natural conscience, but they are any smarter or more stupid than the average person. Not every psychopath is extremely smart (like Hannibal Lecter…). The thing in which they excel is in manipulation. This is how they survive, perfecting their mask, perfecting deceiving people; they train this every day in their life. In every contact with another human being, they practice manipulation; they do this consciously and unconsciously. Psychopaths are pathological liars, and they just as easily deny having lied or said or done anything and then lie again. They are very convincing liars. For psychopaths, the concepts of truth and lie are not the same as for normal people; truth and lie are just two style figures of speech used to achieve their goal. They will never show any remorse when caught unless that (acted) remorse is to their own advantage.

Serial killers ruin families. Corporate, political, and religious psychopaths ruin economies and societies.

Robert Hare

Psychopaths with ambition will go over corpses, and therefore are often successful in reaching the top. The incidence of psychopathy in the top of big businesses is about four times higher than in the general population, which is about 20%. We see this at the top of companies, politics, and religions. Also, history teaches us that psychopaths can become leaders with devastating results.

Manipulation

The bad news, 90% of people, can be manipulated. Most people, even people who work with psychopaths and try to treat them, can be manipulated by them. Psychopaths are hard to recognize, and that is why somebody can be in a relationship with a psychopath for decades, without them knowing they have a relationship with a psychopath. An extraordinary or stressful situation can make the mask drop, and only then is the psychopathology recognized. But even then, a lot of people will first start to doubt their own judgment. Some psychopaths are so cunning that they will make that the person who `caught’ them will be isolated, and the psychopath can turn the group against the one who recognized him and divert attention away from him.

What is the Relation With COVID-19?

We are now almost a year in the COVID-19 psychosis. The measures taken by Western governments are typical psychopathological politics. Professor Lobaczewski writes in his book `Political Ponerology’ how psychopaths can slowly take over the government in a society. (Lobaczewski , 2007) This results in a pathocracy, a government by mentally ill people. In his book, he describes how psychopaths in a pathocracy take the leading role and, in the end, are the core of the government. We are already in an advanced stage of pathocracy.

Every country has the government it deserves.

Joseph de Maistre

One of the signs is that the measures against COVID-19 are getting crazier and crazier. The PCR test is not usable as a definitive diagnostic test, but the government states that people who test positive are infected. This is not true, one can make the test extremely sensitive, but this will lead to many false-positive results, especially if you test on people who have no complaints at all. The official infection fatality rate (IFR) is 0.24%, compared to Ebola, where it is 50%. There is big pressure on people to take the vaccine, or the vaccine is even directly or indirectly mandatory. There is no proof that mouth masks are effective in spreading COVID-19; still they are obligatory. There is no proof that lockdowns are effective; still governments use them. There is no proof that curfews are effective; still they are used. Our governments have joined in an enormous mass hysteria; this is typical for psychopaths.

At this moment, our leaders are not defending what is best for people and are not governing in our best interest. When leaders suffer from psychopathy, they have a much greater impact on the whole people than an individual psychopath can have on his environment. When the people do not realize that they are being deceived, they go along with it. In general, people are docile because they assume that their fellows have good intentions, and they think their leaders are also upright and fair and have their best interests in mind.

What to Do?

Knowledge of psychopathy and other psychological disorders, such as personality disorders, should be known to the average citizen, making it much easier to recognize. If you don’t recognize psychopathology, it is easy to be deceived. If you do recognize it, the manipulation no longer works, and you can keep your own direction. People should know what psychopathy is and how they function, understanding that psychopaths use a completely different logic than ordinary people. What we might experience as logical about psychopathic policy is what we have projected into our own healthy minds. Still, these policies are very sick and are leading us to a totalitarian state.

One of the things that make that these policies are still successful, is that we push unpleasant stuff out of our consciousness. If something is too wrong, we don’t really want to look at it. Our habit of not wanting to look at what is problematic means that we no longer have a complete picture of reality, and therefore start to lack the ability to deal with it. That space is taken by people who suffer from psychopathy. It gives them opportunities to do whatever they want. One of our society’s problems is that evil cannot be named, it must all be covered, and in the meantime, evil continues to grow.

We must acquire knowledge and develop our consciousness. We have to develop strategies to deal with this phenomenon. These are not emotional strategies because they make you vulnerable. We need creativity and self-realization. By developing your consciousness, you acquire inner freedom. If it is present in many people, including a willingness to look at what is going on in an unbiased way, it forms the foundation for freedom on a social level. When the sense of freedom in the population increases, the power base for dictatorships falls, the greatest gift people can give to themselves and their society is their own self-realization and their own enlightenment.

This story is based on an interview between Jorn Luckaszczyk and awareness expert Jan Storms, writer of ` Destructive relationships overhauled,’ published in Dutch and considered a standard work on psychopathy for the general public. The video clip is in Dutch.
